Across the Water

Alvin is diagnosed with influenza A (H1N1).

Pity the poor guy. The whole college prayed for him, Ms. Moey leading us. Was going to tell him how famous he became, but it's kinda bad to disturb him with that double entendre.

Take care, dude.

The funny thing was when Ms. Moey referred especially to the Alpha dance crew, who may need quarantine.

I got my results. And I looked like Xan after failing his driving test.

If it wasn't for Mr. JP I would have waited till 2.30pm after Law lectures to lay my hands on it.

The way Mr. JP looked at me when I told him I haven't taken my results thus couldn't give him my marks, eyes bulging (not like they're not already protruding) and incredulous.

At least Ms. Cumareson understands my reasons.

Chieh thinks I'm silly. Because I took my result slip and gave it to her, allowing her to see my grades and made her tell me what I got for Maths. Only.

Too scared.

After I told Mr. JP my marks he teased me, "Finally saw your results la?" And when I said no his eyes bulged, bigger.

What? It'll seriously spoil my mood if I didn't get the grades I wanted. I have 2 hours of Law and Economics. You really must understand.

I couldn't stand it after that. To wait till I reach mommy's office is just too long, and that paper is in my bag!! Talk about mental torture.

A for both C1 and C2.
B for Literature, 8 more marks to get A.
B for Economics, I just want to cry.

But I couldn't. I don't mind the crowd (screw them if they stare), there's just...

They're not there. My buggers.

Crying in front of people who don't seem to care or bother to understand is a silly work. You're showing them how fragile you are. Besides, why should they know how fragile you are? You may not even mean anything to them, apart from being an easy prey or victim.

Mommy and daddy are happy. As long as I have the 100% scholarship with me, they're happy enough.

Patrick said, "It's alright."

Paraphrasing Machiavelli's 'The Prince' (thank you TienYi for the book):
A wise man ought always to follow the paths beaten by great men, and to imitate those who have been supreme, so that if his ability does not equal theirs, at least it will savour of it.
P/S: It's a good book, not as evil you think. Oh wtf my eyes are watery again. Going off.
