You Made Me Laugh

Met Mel, Iven, Nicole, Adam and ChernWei for breakfast in McDonald's.

My fillet-o-fish looks so smooth and shiny. Feels silky in my hands. Omg I'm talking like a pervert. Yummy yummy...

Then as I sipped my cup of orange juice, I listened to their stories:
  • The large cup of Coke shared amongst 8 people (each had their own small cup) and refilled 8 times by them taking turns;
  • Adam and the phone call from the 'bloody' voice (which was actually Pn. Lim's voice);
  • Russell Peter jokes.
After that we burned calories together, all of us, by walking to the school from McDonald's.

I inhaled deeply when I walked into school, pass by the hall and said, "It's good to be back." Felt so at home, so at ease. We sat listening to the 'Phantom of the Opera' soundtrack, Muttons at Midnight recordings and joked in the pondok beside the hall.

Was saved by Pn. Lim's entrance when Mel dragged me to take a picture and Cat forcing me. Sorry la girls, got pimple.

In an empty classroom, some of them started to patch up the 'body'. All the while we heard the overture of 'Phantom of the Opera' and then when Iven played 'Think of Me' sung by Emmy Rossum as Christine DaaƩ, there was a part where she suddenly jumped to a fortissimo. Iven called out, "I can see the hands! She's giving birth."

I couldn't help but guffawed.

Edbert taking a nap. Using Mel's fedora as a shield from the sunlight.

The kononnya milkshake, shadowed by the rays of the sun.

Had lunch in Maideen, my favourite mamak restaurant. Reasonable price and good food. Our waiter served Iven's roti pisang saying, "Roti lan jiao!" All of us burst out laughing. Iven and Ben-Jie nodded, "Yea yea, roti lan jiao..."

See why I like Maideen so much?

Nostalgia nostalgia nostalgia... why hast thou chose to visit me at this time of year?

As I mentioned in the previous post, school looks better than when I was there. Haiz... We didn't have cemented floor right there last year. We didn't have a garden of herbs back then. They even have aloe vera!!

Wow... maybe I could take some home next time. The place, quoting Cat, is fit to be used as the setting for a romantic song's MV. So cool.

Read the script. Saw Pn. Lim went through it with them. It's the best script written by the team. And I'm sure they will get into the finals.

After all, they are Connaughtians. They can make you laugh and cry.

God bless you people, all the best!! By the way, thanks for making me laugh.
