Bittersweet 17

It feels good to be 17.

Mommy and daddy granted me permission to go out yesterday, since I've been such a good girl, staying home and jaga-ing the brats angels.

Oh, did I tell you I cut my hair and straightened it?

When Preeti and I were still at the parking lot, I got a message from ZL. I was shouting, "Singapore remembers my birthday!!"

Anyway yea, so Preeti, Jer, Cat, Adam, Alvin, Han and I went to Time Square and Pavilion yesterday.

Adam and Jer 'pretended' they didn't see Preeti and I walking towards the entrance, they ran up the escalator like little boys.

Cat gave me Patrick the dog.

I shook it in front of Alvin saying, "Looooook!!! It's sir!!"

For some reasons, they all stopped me from cuddling Patrick and giving him sunlight. Such cruel people.

Went to Tangs where Adam said, "What do you want for your birthday?" I pointed towards a (gorgeous) red bag but he said no. We walked around the ladies' department and advised Adam on his choices of lingerie.

If you're part of the drama gang, you gotta be noisy. And we were noisy in Forever 21. It was all about thongs and Adam.

Adam + Thongs = Sexy Momma

Alvin had that horrified 'oh-my-f*cking-gorilla' look when we saw Adam touching Han's shoulder.

Received a call from ZiKang. He was yelling on the phone, "LAO PO!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I LOVE YOU!!" I think I almost cried when I heard Octo's voice. Damn I miss that girl, almost forgot how her voice sounds like.

After that, Alvin said wanna go La Senza to get thongs for Octo, rainbow-coloured one.

Preeti got attracted by the leopard skin design pajamas, Adam and I followed. One Caucasian walked in like he owns the shop (maybe he does).

Preeti whispered to Adam, "You shouldn't be here, it's girls stuff!" Adam quickly walked out of the shop, then the Caucasian came and told him, "It's ok, it's ok for boys," with a smile.

See, even the white guy we didn't know could sense Adam's passion for lingerie.

After a seemingly endless discussion, we went to Pancake House International for lunch, since Tony Roma's was so packed we had to wait for 15 minutes.

Preeti, Alvin and Han vanished somewhere else, saying they'll be back soon. So, we decided to wait for them and we... cam-whored.

Cat and I, we love cam-whoring. That's why she's my daughter. Jer just wouldn't join us, like he's too handsome for the camera.

Adam and I love each other and kami sangat macho.

The trio finally came back and along with them was...

... a chocolate cake!!

Omg these people wanna make me fat. I love chocolate.

Aku dengan sayangku~ ^^

Preeti and Adam, he's not gay la.

The food was ok. The waiter very polite lo, he wish me happy birthday as well, wee~

These people wanted to make fun of me or something, they asked me to stand up. When I stood, some of my stuff fell and Alvin, being the gentleman, bent to pick it up.

All of a sudden, Preeti screamed, "ALVIN YOUR HAIR!!!"

What was left with his hair. Apparently his hair caught fire, from the candles. Thank God it wasn't obvious.

There were tiny black bits of burnt hair on his shoulders.

Poor guy.

I told daddy on the way home, "Daddy, got a guy sayang me so much he burned his hair for me wei~"

Alvin and Han went to get new clothes for CNY, the gang and I walked back to Time Square.

Bought 'Marie Antoinette: The Journey' as a birthday gift for myself.

Daddy was like, "So boring, just the biography of a queen."

The 5 of us watched 'Ip Man'. During lunch, we enjoyed annoying Alvin by pronouncing it as I-P Man.

After the movie, Preeti and I said at the same time, "Donnie Yen hot wei..."

It was superb. I love the movie. I hate the Japanese army. Don't know they're just plain horny or evil, see girls then want to rape them.

The moral of the story: Don't learn karate, learn WingChun.

Bought Christmas gifts for mommy and daddy and headed for home.

Mommy and daddy brought the annoying kids and I to Cowboy Delicious for dinner. The name of the restaurant sounds so wrong.

Behold, my Italian mango lemonade soda. Damn nice. Deng, got influenced by Alvin already.

Went for drama audition.

Only 10 of us for today. I had fun during the audition, especially acting out the scenarios.

I believe that everybody can act, the world's a stage. The problem is getting into character, what Pn. Lim always stress on.

Results will be out by this week, I pray that I'm in.

P/S: Thanks for making the day special, peeps. Love y'all.

P/P/S: To those who called, messaged, e-mailed, left a comment and wrote on my wall, thank you for remembering and thanks so much for your wishes. Love you guys as well ^^

P/P/P/S: Thanks for the book, Jer. No, it's not childish. I've been wanting to read it but whenever I want to buy it, I'll have second thoughts. Afraid that it'll be disappointing and stuff. Thanks again. ^^
