I'm Coming, Spicy~

Pn. Yeap told the class about a trip organized by China's Education Ministry from 2nd July till 7th July.

Macau, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan and our country were asked to send 30 students as representatives to Sze Chuan, China.

It's an international affair, interaction between Chinese students from different countries.

Students will get to visit the victims and a study trip in Sze Chuan and Hu Nan.

Pn. Yeap asked if any of us are interested.

Gosh yes yes YES I wanna go!

I know I told some of my friends that I got tired of visiting China, 'cause I've been there twice (Beijing and Guilin). But this is different.

Ever since the earth-shaking catastrophe happened I wanted to do something to help my kins in my motherland.

I mean, we are of the same race, maybe we're distant relatives or something. Donating alone isn't enough. I want to see for myself. I want to be there.

Mom said yes without even a moment's pause.

Dad was smiling all the way. 'Cause I told him I got 89% for English, 59% for Moral and secured the 6th place in class, not counting Physics in yet.

He was smiling and considering.

I can't help but spill the beans, tell him my compromises:
  • No birthday or Christmas gifts till I'm 21.
  • No reward even if I get straight A1s for SPM.
  • No angpau money from them next year and the year after.
  • No shopping spree and parties with my friends for the rest of the year.

Anyway I regret the last one. How can I live without shopping? To think think that I will have to miss parties with especially my drama team members is unbelievably PAINFUL.

Dad gave the green light.

I told Pn. Yeap this morning that I'm going. She said there was already 20+ names on the list. I urged her to call the organizer and fax my form there fast.

And I'm going. I shall have to renew my passport.

YAY I'M GOING MUAHAHAHAHAHA...

Hopefully. Waiting for the organizer to call me. I think they called just now but I wasn't at home yet.

Please please please please I wanna go call me call me CALL ME NOW!

You cannot understand how anxious I am now.

P/S: Tomorrow going for Chinese Literature Seminar. Wonder if I'll see anyone from tuition.

P/P/S: Thank you for returning my baby, Alvin. The volume you adjusted it to almost murdered my eardrums.
