I felt so light I could fly.
Yet Pn. Shanthi wants to spoil my day. She shouted at us as if we're prisoners and even arranged seats for us. The big screen in the hall was playing 'Blood Diamond'.
I thought it was rated 18SG??
I mean, it's so violent. All the shooting, chopping and foul language. The school is promoting it, I guess. Mr. John was so attracted to the movie he didn't realise his jaw was hanging in mid-air.
Welcome to my world, people.
After school, Xia, Yen, Shin and I went to Leisure Mall. It's sorta like a tradition for students of my school to visit Leisure Mall after major exams.
Mr. Sun shone too bright and casted too many searing ultra-violet rays on us (damn, my fair skin turned darker). Perspiring all the way and Xia's legs became feeble.
Yen was not hiding from the camera, she's just chilling her eyes with the cold water bottle.
We actually planned our budget, even brought scientific calculators (it's essential ok? Modern Maths today). Shin and Yen wanted to grab some sushi and ramen in Sushi King, but due to C'EST BUDGET, we moved to the Japanese restaurant near the cinema.
The price made Xia vomitted blood. So we went for Sushi King.
Xia and I shared a set meal of black pepper fish fillet with vegetables, miso soup, egg and a Yakult drink. Yen and Shin shared a big bowl of rice, topped with omelette shreds and 4 pieces of unagi (eel meat).
Then we kept on the look out for sushis~
The thing I love about Sushi King is their system of delivering sushis directly to you. It's simply genius!!
We ate...
and ate...
so much~
We were so cautious we calculated the price before we allow ourselves to another helping of sushi~
When the bill came, it was my turn to vomit blood.
We walked around...
Beautiful lanterns...
I was hoping to watch 'Secret' after hearing the comments from my friends. 'Hairspray' was in my mind too but I'll leave it 'cause dad will surely get the DVD.
But Xia insisted that we watch something else, 'cause she watched 'Secret' the other day.
Yen doesn't like the lovey-duvey type of movie.
Xia suggested that we watched 'Beauty and 7 Beasts', a Hong Kong movie. According to Xia, the director is very famous and directed a lot of award winning movies.
Frankly, I never even heard of the director. But I said that it's good that they have a female director. Then Xia glared at me as if I insulted her mom, "It's a 'he' la!"
Oops.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not going through any gender confusion. But the name Wang Jing really sounds like a girl's name.
I strongly objected the suggestion, due to my lack of interest in Hong Kong movies (it's not discrimination, really). Shin too doesn't have any fondness towards these movies (her Cantonese is like mine, not that good).
So the conclusion is... we watched 'Hairspray'.

Wonderful musical, you should watch it.
Love the songs. I want the soundtrack.
I consider this movie a real success 'cause...
It made me like the protagonist, Tracy Turnblad. She's just so chubby and so cute, her voice was wonderful, her moves were groooooovy (don't worry Mr. Travolta, my heart remains with you in 'Saturday Night Fever').
Queen Latifah is one of my favourite celebrities, love her voice and there's something about her personality that makes her glam.
Whilst the actors were singing and dancing, I felt my own body wanting to move. If I could, then I would. After I went back home, I locked myself in my room and did that sinful act.
So sinful...
So very sinful of me...
To actually do that...
Luckily the mirror didn't break.
