Centuries Old Undead are Sexy

Before I proceed with the title, let me update you a little about my life~

Don't you just love sour cream flavour chips?? I gotta say I love Chipster, a lot~

I stuffed myself with pizzas for dinner on that fateful day I sat for my Add Maths.

I know it's oily but hey, my definition of living is do what you think is right. And abstinating yourself from food you love is a sin, even if you're health-conscious.

Maxie loves it~!!

Here's a little movie of Maxie going crazy...

Cute??

Alright, to my title now.

As everyone knows, I'm crazy when it comes to books. I read every issue of the Sunday Star for the manga and anime reviews, not forgetting the book reviews.

My routine continued today. There were 3 books reviewed by Daphne Lee that caught my attention.

'Twilight', 'New Moon' and 'Eclipse' by Stephanie Meyer.

The latter 2 books are sequels to the first one, that means if you want to enjoy and understand the story, you gotta read 3 of them (authors can be so realistic about money sometimes).

Very gothic covers.

To me, it's under the gothic romance genre which... I have a fervent liking and my parents despise (being a little... dolt, don't tell them I said that).

The main female character in this series --- Bella Swan (nice name, eh) is your everyday ordinary girl next door. Not too slender, not too fat; not too pretty, not too ugly; not too smart, not too dumb. She had a crush on one of her highschool senior --- Edward Cullen.

Now, Edward is a delicious looking boy that every girl wants to devour (not literally of course, in another way of devouring... you know what I mean). Not only has he the Prince Charming looks, the cold ego and very gentleman behaviour; he keeps a dark secret.

That brings us to the title.

Yes, he is immortal. Not the good type of immortal of course. If it's a good type of immortality, it wouldn't be called gothic.

What kind of evil immortal can be so delicious and gentleman-like?? Come on, girls are good at this. Every teenage girl has a deep and dark fantasy~~

Guys, go ask your sister. Or if you dare, your mom.

Okay, I'll spill the beans. He's a vampire.

In Bram Stoker's 'Dracula', the female vampires in the Count's castle were described as 'beautiful' and 'wanton'. See?? Even males has fantasies of female vampires being prettier than us living and kicking girls. I reckon the part where males like female vampires is because they're wanton.

Anyway, Bella is madly in love with Edward. Edward, on the other hand, was deeply in love with Bella as well, but blood-thirsty too. It seemed to him that Bella's blood was intoxicating. In order to abstain himself from hurting her, he stayed away from her.

And so the storyline goes on like normal romance novels except that this has more... blood-thirsty beings involved, including a werewolf.

I want this book. Seriously.

It is obvious that of all the evil undead, a vampire is more decent looking than zombies and werewolves. Wouldn't you agree?

Of course in reality, nobody wants this to happen. Would you want an undead beau??
