When I don't write anything about us,

it doesn't mean I don't cherish us.

I just don't think there's a need that the whole world should know

about us.

After all, 'us' is made up of two 'u's,

not two 'i's,

and certainly not 'them's.

When I don't write about the pain I feel

when there's a crack between us,

it doesn't mean I don't think it's a big deal.

I just don't like people to look at me with sympathy in their eyes.

It's not like we'll still be together after this;

it's not like it's gonna make you happier.
