No more studying at nail-biting speed for a while. University life will be starting soon enough, either August if I end up in Singapore or February if I don't.
Anyway, I miss the thrill of studying. Also, there's the queasy feeling in the stomach you get when you sit for an exam knowing NOTHING about what you're facing.
I won't say I did well in A Level. Somehow, you can easily predict what you'll get for your exams when you put down your pen and hand in the paper.
It's not like SPM, where you think you wrote shit but you ended up with an A1, or A+ for now.
A Level is very real. If you wrote shit, you get shit. Literally speaking. However, there's a rare chance that you may do better than you expect, for example in English Literature. Or you may do worse, like in Economics.
My subject combination was good. Strictly towards humanities. 2 subjects of pure essay writing.
Mr. Lawrence's lobster spaghetti. So hot. Not the lobster, the person himself. Oh yes he is sizzling hot in his red prom shirt.
Right now, I'll just pray for my English Literature (because I think I screwed up Unit 3) and my Economics (because I screwed up Unit 4 as well). Please God let me have ABBB at least.
Can't wait for the lingerie shopping trip Chieh and I planned. The shopping trip on July 1 as well. She even planned for a night market excursion on 30th, to celebrate her liberty.
Ah. I enjoy friendship.
Just met up with part of the drama gang today, after so long. I missed out their trip to Pavilion for Jer's birthday, this time I shan't.
Thanks to Ben, I just noticed we're all in different colleges and schools now:
- Gurpreet was from Stamford and I from MCKL; anyway we're both out of college now.
- Iven's in Berjaya learning how to be the next Anthony Bourdain.
- Nic's cavorting in Taylors like the horny girl she is.
- Jer's studying Accounting, of all things he could do, in TARC.
- Cat's going to Ipoh to take up Education.
- Grace is enjoying tall Chinese males in Cochrane.
- Ben the young boy is still in SMKTC.
That's about it. We're all passionate about the performing arts but none of us could go there.
But we still stick close together. It's great to have them. Love you guys and thanks for the afternoon.
A good laugh, a good shout and a good hug... that's just what I needed.
Missing my baby cousins. Will be going to Muar next weekend, if everything goes according to plan. Yay~
Shall sit for my Undang soon, as well as learning how to drive an old manual Kancil. The fun I shall have. I understand that driving is a tasking job, especially when there are jams.
Chieh will be going to Taiwan for a holiday with her friend. The Bali trip is unconfirmed and most probably won't come to fruition as well. At least, I hope the 5s2 gang will be able to cook up a holiday plan that doesn't include Genting Highlands.
That's all for tonight, folks. All the best to those finishing A Level this coming week.
P/S: South Korea lost. I'm sad =(
