Promenading Between Two Worlds

Without hesitance, I raced up the stairs to get ready when Aunt Jennifer invited me to saunter with her in town.
To be precise, we were going to Central Market and Petaling Street (I know there's nothing much there but pity me this girl who has never been to Central Market, ok)~

And, it's my first time taking a bus to town!!

I mean, it's not weird, right? Usually when you go to KLCC you take LRT. Not many people take buses...

Didn't know it was soooo cheap to take bus. Only RM 2 total for transportation!! So cheap nia~!!

The con was... we need to wait about 15 minutes for the bus. The sun was showering ultra-violet rays and... perhaps I got a nice tan. When we reached Pudu, saw one of my tuition mates.

We ate beef noodles for lunch, Aunt Jennifer said it was very famous.

The best beef noodles I had!! RM 4 only!!

It was as if Aunt Jennifer knew KLCC like the tip of her fingers, she walked through the verandahs and then along the road then voila! We're there.

Had soya bean drink at one of the stalls, nicer than packet drinks and nicer than other stalls that I had tried. Then, went to Popular Bookstore for air-cond.

Saw Wai Yen there with her friends. And saw another thing that hypnotised me.

OMG!! 'Twilight'!!

If you don't understand why am I so thrilled and agog about it, please click this.

Hypnotised by the sight of this book, I was controlled by it (naturally). I didn't realise that I took the book from the shelf and walked to the cashier. I didn't even look at the price of the book! I took out my Popular card and waited.

"RM 25.75, miss."

OMG!!! So cheap!! Usually books are like RM 39++. I must buy this book. Sadly, there aren't any copies of 'New Moon' or 'Eclipse' there~

Old Town Coffee Shop has a traditional way of treating their VIP guests.

If I were the VIP, I'd take the normal tables and chairs, no need for special treatment.

Perhaps that 'VIP' stands for Very Incooperative People. Who knows, right?

TV3 crew shooting a show in Central Market.

On the way home, I was hugging my new baby as if it were a paramount thing to me (the fact is, it is). When Aunt Jennifer took a look at it in the bus, she flipped the book so forcefully and abruptly my heart almost stopped beating.

I brought it to Physics/Chemistry tuition later that day 'cause class usually starts late. I almost annihilated Yean Chu when she did the same thing to my baby.

This morning, Michelle and I arrived in school early (very early) for drama practice. She went to the library to help out while I sat at the verandah reading my baby. The prefects were having a meeting there too, planning the retirement ceremony for Mr. Cheh and Datin Hoo.

I was engrossed and almost buried myself in the book when suddenly I heard 'Nessun Dorma' playing. It would be nice if they were to play this song or even sing it during the ceremony~

Mr. John passed by my seat and said to them, "Wow, having a meeting here with a librarian eavesdropping. Then they will know our plans."

Obviously, the so-called 'librarian' was referring to me as there weren't any other students there.

Chery : Erm, sir, I'm not a librarian.
Mr. John : Is it? She's not?? *looks questioningly and the prefects*
Prefects : *shook heads* (most of them from my class and 4S1, of course they know me la)
Mr. John : Oh, sorry. But you look like a librarian. *laughs and repeating the line to the prefects*

Was that suppose to be a compliment or what?

When most of our team mates arrived at the hall, we started talking and chatting.

Joelah, Catherine, Yee Chieh and I were talking about guy celebrities when she mentioned Wentworth Miller is a gay.

NO!!!! HOW COULD WENTWORTH MILLER BE A GAY?!!

Plus... I don't understand why Joelah loathes Zac Efron, he's cute, isn't he?

Yea, a drama performance means that I have to get into my character again. Which also means that I'll be in 2 different worlds, between reality and virtual. I can have my dream car, a Lamborghini Concept S in my drama world; but can only afford to take buses in reality.

Next year we'll be auditioning those who want to join the drama team!! Yipee, I can be Simon Cowell for once.
