Disheartened Yet Sanguine

I'm still crestfallen after yesterday's drama.

For the umpteenth time... I will miss those Secondary 5 team members.

This morning, as I marvelled at the number of people paying their last respect to Uncle Lim (mom kept saying that he's her grandpa because they share the same surname and are both Hokkien), mom said, "That's life, we live and then we die; we meet and we then we part."

Which reminded me of the latin phrase 'memento mori' --- remember that you are mortal.

Uh huh... which meant that I have to face separation and death. It's just like a danse macabre. Of everything, I can't stand separation. Because it tears me into half.

So?

I should cherish what I have now.
I should face everything with equanimity so that I don't break down.

Just like Shin. Emotionless Shin. I hate that. I detest that.

If one should only let one's self know how one really feels, then why on earth did God gave us emotions and feelings?

Sorry, just got bitten by melancholy.

Actually it's a mixture of both feelings. Depression and cheerfulness.

Happy that my gor --- Bryan is a solicitous person. It's always a good thing for guys to be thoughtful.

I enjoyed debating with Yen and Wai Mun, especially when it got nasty and I pissed Wai Mun a little. Omg... I actually made Wai Mun feel pissed off (even though it's just a little).

Christopher helped out, which made me realise that he's a good debater. He said, "I'm too geng, don't play debating anymore."

Derrick and KJ came into the topic, started talking about equal treatment for males and females. Derrick started singing 'Time to Say Goodbye', which sounded very Japanese, which also sent me laughing like mad.

He sounded funny when he sang this part:

Paesi che non ho mai (especially this 'mai')~

KJ and Derrick danced the tango in class, KJ using a pen as a rose, biting it. Cute la these 2 guys dance, compatible partners.

All the best to the prefects performing for Mr. Cheh's retirement.

Christopher and Wai Loon debated 10 minutes before recess till recess ended. Very gory. All the pointing and shouting... exciting though.
