My School Can Be So Stingy...

Yesterday, Xia got the first place for the poster drawing competition, in conjunction with the Patriotic Month.

With her drawing skills and her 'I-want-to-win' spirit, not forgetting her infamous speech, "Calm down... I told you calm down lo!! Wei, calm down ok?!"

Obviously, she's the one who wasn't calm.

Xia received her prize --- put inside an envelope. We were certain it was cash.

Wa... got a '1' there, so grand, so yeng~

The moment we've been waiting for!!

How much is inside that envelope?? I'm dying to know...

RM 100?! RM 200?!

Pn. Lim was right, the waiting can kill.

Xia reached her fingers into the envelope, "I felt something!! Feels like a paper..."

Darn it, of course it's a paper. What else you want? Coins?!

1 paper means... RM 50?? Not bad too...

She slowly pulled it out... we put our heads closer to look... and then...

Wtf...

Why is the money with the teacher?? Maybe the teachers don't trust the students...

So, Xia went to the teachers' office during recess and came back with a not-so-satisfied face.

Chery : How much?? Must belanja us bubble milk tea, ok?
Yen : Yea yea!! Bubble milk tea!! I want honey dew flavour!
Chery : I want green apple flavour!! What about you, Shin?
Shin : Huh??
Yen : What flavour do you want?
Shin : Just gimme cash.

Why must she be so realistic...

Xia : It's only a very small amount of money.
Chery : How much??
Yen : Yea, how much??
Xia : RM 25...
Chery : !@#$%^&* ma de...
Yen : !@#$%^&* 3D...

The school is willing to spend RM 10 000+ for stupid CCTVs (they even want to put them in toilets), but they are not willing to spend more than RM 30 to congratulate the students for their hard work.

Stupid, stingy, kiam siap school...

Some good news followed, we got third place for the EST Project Competition!!

Nuan's group got 2nd and I reckon the 1st place winner is Wei Ming's group.

Pray that the school give cash and not hampers. I want CA$H!!

Since when did I become so realistic??

I want CA$H!! And it must be more than RM 50!!

It's been so long since I last played DotA (yes, I play Defense of the Ancients), I miss that game. Although I always die...

It's also been a long time since I last touched Counter Strike (yes, I'm violent). Same scenario here, always the first to die...

I need a mentor, I need someone to teach me how to survive.

Yesterday, I was watching Xia helping 2 students who had headache in the St. John's room. Then suddenly a sweaty body approached me and poked its head beside mine.

"What are you doing?" a 'he' voice asked.
"Ei?? Gor!! Watching my friend save people's life," was excited to see my gor (Bryan).

Bryan : Wa... your friend so geng~
Chery : Where are you going now?
Bryan : Da gei (means play comp games)~
Chery : Play what?
Bryan : DotA lo~
Chery : Wei, I also wanna go, teach me how to play *look at him with watery eyes*
Bryan : You got play de meh? No no, you can't play, this is not for little girls...
Chery : Gor aa... *pulling his sleeve, begging*
Bryan : No no, cannot.

Xia and I went to 7-Eleven to buy Slurpees and on the way back to school, I saw my gor and half-gor on a motorcycle.

Chery : I thought you go da gei?
Bryan : There, this guy lo, he wants to bring me to Maidin (a famous mamak stall at our area)~
Chery : I want to go also.
Bryan : Want aa? Come la, let you sit in front.

I was about to hop onto the motorcycle when a thought suddenly came to me, "Are you going to treat me to the meal?" I asked. Bryan shook his head. Fine.

After begging Philip to comment on any entry, he finally did.
