Won't Be Seventeen Forever

So far I've received about 19 official birthday wishes, 1 un-official one which sounded more like a hint, and 2 birthday gifts.

Well, if you wanna count the crabs I had in Seremban... make it 3 gifts then.

Yummy crabs I tell you.

Blissful movie date with Octo this afternoon in KLCC. Too bad we didn't camwhore, such a breakout from tradition! Ish... we should have, now that I've mentioned.

We watched the very anticipated 'Avatar' by James Cameron, director of 'Titanic'. The movie was AWESOME.

You should watch. You all should watch. Every human being should watch.

James Cameron did not disappoint his fans, audience and film critics. The effects were breath-taking, the graphic was believable and the soundtrack... omg... James Horner!!

I love James Horner. Horner is my favourite film music composer, I especially love his 'The Mask of Zorro' soundtrack! Then again, I love everything about that movie.

The dog with the colossal head from Octo. I thought she might give me an octopus for dinner lol. Thanks dear for the gift, it doesn't look like you but it'll nonetheless remind me of you.

There you go, my companions in Slumberland. PhinPhin the dolphin, Patrick the red dog, GuinGuin the penguin and... erm... Brownie the giant-headed dog!

Ehehehe. It's very important to give them their own identities, lest they face an identity crisis or something.

My dear daddy, who saw my wistful eyes on MP3s with larger storage, got me an MP4 with 4 GB storage.

Thank you, daddy.

So what if you notice it's not an iPod? I just need a light music player with at least 2 GB storage. That's all I'm asking. Anyway, even the real deal is made in China.

Whilst waiting for Jolynn to appear on stage, Damien and I did what we love best.

'Eternity' by Charis Christian Centre was original and inspiring. Love the little kids who sang in the beginning. Cute and charming little sweeties in red caps.

Enjoyed being a promoter for college in the MidValley education fair. Met a lot of my juniors who just finished SPM, including Iven, KangNian and James.

I think Mrs. Dharma enjoyed looking at me hitting Iven and pouncing on James.

It's a sad thing that some students didn't make the effort to try and speak English. It's as if they don't know that they'll be studying their A Level and diplomas in English.

Although most of the students have a vague idea of what degree they want to pursue, but at least they know what they like and what they don't. Unlike some who, I think, are ignorant.

Chery: What's your ambition or have you planned what to study in degree level?
Kid: Errr... I'm not sure yet.
Chery: Oh, it's alright, most of us finish SPM with almost no ideas of what to study. Do you have, say, any favourite subjects when you're studying?
Kid: Don't know wo... *sheepish grin*
Chery: Erm... your hobbies?
Kid: Huh? Hobbies? Err... I don't know leh~

What the heck do you know then?

Even Damien is better than you. At least he knows what he likes.

Right... so I'm 18 already. Haiz. I miss being 17. And it's only been 33 minutes into being 18.

Well, at least I can drink in public. Not that I never did that. But anyway, the vodka is waiting so I might as well end its agonising wait.

P/S: Thanks all for your wishes. And Yappie, you are so going to get it for reminding me about growing old.
