'Muar Chinese', 'Kawan' and the obnoxious variation of our national anthem are no longer fresh in our minds. Yet whenever this maestro uploads a new video or song onto YouTube, it evokes memories of these 3 songs.
'Muar Chinese' attacks those who look down at Muar town and its inhabitants, whereby 'Kawan' and 'Negarakuku' point out racial issues in our beloved country. The amount of truth found in the latter 2 songs is a subject of debate, and hilariously...
... the music videos ended up in Parliament, creating an uproar.
I remember one of the ministers even wanted to detain him using the Internal Security Act 1960, while most others wanted to kick him out of the country, forfeiting his citizenship.

I'm sure many of us did, perhaps excluding the group of people he attacked (politicians and so on).
And most of his videos still make sense. Patriotic and even benevolent. 'ABC With Mr. Q' and the Tenaga Nasional Bhd. (TNB) video definitely not one of them.
He insisted that 'ABC With Mr. Q' is like some sort of video with high artistic value and an abstract piece talking about the phenomena of Chinese schools or something. Forgive me if I got it wrong, but I stopped reading the article about it because I find it downright stupid.
Even if he were to make excuses, he should find a better and plausible one. How does it connect to some phenomena I can't see. Perhaps it's too abstract and I, with my mind shaped for straight forwardness, cannot decipher.
Or maybe it's meant to puzzle people like me, proving that phenomena he's talking about.

What's with all the foul words and suggestive actions and noises? Yes, I admit they're funny, I was roaring with laughter and guffawing with too much mirth. It didn't take me long to feel that it is very disrespectful and ugly.
Yes, ugly.
The setting of the film and the main character kinda implied that the institution taught the students all these right?
About the TNB one, well, disgraceful. Apart from showing the inefficiency of TNB, he showed the ugly side of him. He, who was born and bred in Muar, Johor. Doesn't his action also sheds light on its inhabitants? Are they as rough and foul-mouthed as he is? Impatient and uncivilised as well?

Coming back to the subject, because I know several people from Muar personally, I say the answer is no. They're not uncivilised. They have wi-fi, you know?
Mommy's from Muar, she's near perfect in every way. My aunts and uncles as well. My maternal grandparents!! How dare he paint such a degrading picture of Muar. All the good food and pleasant folks...
Nearly all are pleasant folks, save him. I don't wanna be his neighbour.
Yes, developed countries do not face electricity problems. He criticised our government leaders, saying they're all worthless. He said the country is not developed because we have worthless leaders heading the government.
What I want to say is:
The country being not a developed country is also due to people like you, who don't know how to control your temper and your mouth. Your childish and uncivilised actions explicitly give people the idea that you're like a monkey. While I admire your efforts in helping victims of the flood and your talent in music, there are things you should give serious thought and stop being a child.
Right, I can tell that Namewee fans are going to hate this.
