She Wolf in the Closet

I just finished my Malaysian Studies' 1000 words essay.

Wow. So I spent the last 2 hours researching on Malaysian politics and democracy. I just found out we're ranked no. 76th out of 103 countries.

The website even labeled us under the 'red' category, which meant the lowest third in the research.

Am I supposed to feel a sting at my neck or something at this comment by researches from Vienna?

Daddy was so into the MCA's extraordinary (waliao, they use such a word) special (huh? extraordinary not enough lagi special gah) meeting. MCA members were casting votes to 3 resolutions.

He even called me in the middle of the Marriage Preparation Course he was helping out in church. Politics and men. See the link?

I tell you times are so bad. One radical Indonesian party with 1000 volunteers ready to conquer Malaysia with bamboo sticks and parang, 10 spies who 'know the geographical landscape very well' shouting "Ganyang Malaysia!". Then, internal conflict within the 2nd biggest party in Malaysia.

External threat and internal conflict wears the people down, as I mentioned in Twitter.

But seriously, is there really a need for war? Between countries and between party members? Maybe we humans aren't that peace-loving after all.

We're still savage, like what is implied in William Golding's 'Lord of the Flies' (no it's not a parody of 'Lord of the Rings', stupid).

And all these talk by Charles Darwin and other scientists that we homo sapiens are peace-loving things, evolved from our blood-thirsty ancestors the homo erectus (oooo... suggestive) or the Neanderthals (I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that they're not us, but whatever). Bullshit.

Don't you feel that deep down inside each of us, there is an animal?

While I do agree that God created us different from animals because we're modeled in His image, we do have the primitive instincts with us. Especially obvious when it comes to the point of 'kill or die'.

That's what we call survival instincts.

Oh this is my wedding gown, by the way.

Of course I'm joking. You won't catch me wearing an empire waist line wedding gown. Or maybe you will. Depends if it's in vogue.

Cousin's wedding in 2 weeks time ^^

Which means, I need heels. Not one but 2 pairs.

Oh and I finished 'My Sister's Keeper' and I cried.
