Candy Coated Misery

Thank God it's Friday, quoting Ah Lian.

By the way, when was the last time you played with candles?

I found some pictures I took during the days when I couldn't type a decent entry.

Mid-Autumn Festival gathering at Uncle's place.

More candles. The heart shaped one was made by Damien for someone. Ooooo~

How come my brother so romantic one?

I'm a realist. He's a romanticist.

The iguana soup. Prevents pimples and gives you smooth skin.

Of course I drank it. 4 bowls of them.

No, it didn't taste like iguana. Rather sweet, though. Must be the herbs.

Taken whilst mommy and daddy were choosing wedding gifts for cousin Cath and her husband-to-be. They're getting married next Sunday!!

Followed KahYun and Yui to Public Bank one day after college 'cause she has to open a bank account for CF.

There she was, staring at the form blankly, not knowing what to write or which to fill in.

Then we found that the man gave her the wrong form. Instead of opening an account, he gave her the one to transfer money out of capital account.

Chieh and I went for lunch at Vivo in Times Square.

Chieh and her pleasurably guilty plate of cheese-baked spaghetti with fish fillet.

My baked chicken with mushroom sauce. LOVE the coleslaw.

Our glasses of lemon. Caribbean Lemonade for me, and Lemon Soda for her.

It all started with the talk about how lemon can help the digestive system and relating it to staying slim and not growing fat.

Yay lemonade!!

Anyway, we went back to college bloated and feeling queasy because of the heavy meal.

I found this pasted on the Literature classroom notice board.

John Keating from the movie 'Dead Poets Society' telling the boys of his English class to see poetry in a new light.

LOVE the movie. First watched it in Mr. Sean's class, which got most of us in the craze about carpe diem.

Siah presenting Mrs. Dharma with her self-made Deepavali card, with all our signatures.

We had this plan to stop her from discussing the other problem question. After giving her the card, we'll talk our way through about Deepavali, how's she gonna celebrate and all the other rubbish.

You should have seen her face when we started discussing the first problem question.

I almost cried. She was so scary.
