Open Up the Bacardi

I must say I'm impressed.

Dato' Chua Jui Meng was the guest speaker for today's service. He talked about life after death, that Heaven and Hell really do exist, supported with testimonies by Malaysian and overseas Christians.

Basically, I think the message he shared was about having Jesus in our lives clears up the uncertainty of what comes after death. Why fear death? Because we're not sure of our faith or we doubt God?

Something to think about.

Anyway, as I was saying, I'm impressed with Dato' Chua's sharing today.

I've always knew he was a member of our church. He shared his testimony a few years back, his almost-kidnapped son, Damien, shared his too. I just never saw him in person.

Just another politician. Just another person who switched sides, from Barisan National to Pakatan Rakyat. I don't comment about political stuff online, will never do so as long as the Internal Security Act is here to stay.

He actually justified his reasons for leaving BN this morning. Whether it's the truth or not I don't know, let God be the judge.

The way he talks, the way he presents himself. No wonder he's a lawyer...

Mommy recalled how he helped her get another date for a court case 20 over years ago, when other lawyers only scoffed and teased her boss for being and extreme Christian (not working on Saturdays and not eating shellfish).

Damien and I were talking about asking him to be our godfather.

Lol. We'll continue dreaming~

After lunch at Pizza Hut (the carbonara was... edible) we went to watch 'Overheard'.

I tell you we got 2 Myvis and 1 Wira on the road, it's like... we're going to participate in the pro or anti ISA demonstration.

Jam like mad.

Chieh played with the bluetooth thing in Theng's car. He said he turned the bluetooth on already but our phones couldn't detect it. Then he took out the manual and I read through...

The thing with guys and cars is, sometimes they don't bother to finish the whole manual. It's not like it's a thousand-paged Ken Follet novel, or with any difficult terminologies that you can't digest.

But...... I rest my case. Theng is a good driver. Very steady. I trust he can do without the manual.

Daniel Wu died. I cannot believe that the director let his character DIE!!

Of the 3... Louis Koo lost his left arm and left leg, Sean Lau is in a healthy piece. DANIEL WU DIED!!

How can??

Chieh didn't enjoy the movie. Even when during the scene where the 3 of them were watching the rising of a particular share's price, she was muttering, "Sell it. Sell it."

Oh and I found one scene very amusing. Sometimes the cops have so much to watch... with sound effect somemore (note the movie title).

It's a revenge tragedy of blood. Ahh... too bloody. I don't know what other words I can use to describe it.

Yang went back to Pahang already. Haiz. No abalone after all.
