Cats are everywhere.

On the streets, in my garden, in my high school and now in my college.

We haven't named it yet. Certainly will not name it Garfield.

It's a girl kitten. ^^

Deidre playing with the kitten. She couldn't stop screaming at how cute it is.

It scratched her hand till she was bleeding. Yet she still continued to play with it. Couldn't help but wonder if she's a little masochistic...

Or maybe she was high at the moment (she gets high real easily).

I finally finished this book. If I were more emotional, I would cry reading the last 2 chapters. I love the part when they were at Stonehenge, Tess said, "Tell me now, Angel, do you think we shall meet again after we are dead? I want to know."

By the way, Angel is the male lead here.

Quite philosophical, this novel. In Bramshurst Court, Tess told Angel, "Don't think of what's past! I am not going to think outside of now. Why should we! Who knows what to-morrow has in store?" True enough. Why dwell in the past when we should be preparing ourselves emotionally and physically for ambiguous tomorrow?

One quote I think very relevant to all of us:

Men are too often harsh with women they love or have loved; women with men. And yet these harshnesses are tenderness itself when compared with the universal harshness out of which they grow; the harshness of the position towards the temperament, of the means towards the aims, of to-day towards yesterday, or hereafter towards to-day.

Simply means, people are often harsh towards the ones they love and care about. Compared with harshness in the worldly sense, this harshness is actually tenderness.

SeowTeng sent an e-mail to most of us in 5S2, an e-mail about Japanese gigolos.

They look like the manga people Esther S and Xin-Yun like!!

Temptation. I'm tempted to keep one as my own. When I'm rich enough la, of course.

If you have the looks, why bother studying so hard till you're suicidal?

Am still a little angry and offended. 'Cause Xin-Yun instantly said, "Who's this? So ugly!" when I showed them a gorgeous picture of Tom Felton.

I don't see what's hot with having long hair like manga characters. They make guys look gay. Then again, I'm telling the truth just to make them angry.

I'm so childish. Urgh.
