Battle Wages On For Toy Soldiers

So finally the letters start to pour in.

Yesterday morning I received a letter from college, a thick envelope with a payment memo (I feel so damn cheated) and my results slip.

Just now I received a letter I wished was accidentally swallowed by a dog, got on fire, fell into the drain and then eaten by sharks in the sea.

Hello, national service. Hello, Alor Gajah, Malacca.

It's just weird that people can end up in camps called XXX Golf & Country Resort. Is it even a camp? What do you do there? Play golf?

They want me to go all the way to Kajang to assemble. So freaking far away.

Cousin WeiJie gets to fly to Sabah.

Very nice bus ticket, though.

Reading the letter and the guide book gave me a headache. I stopped reading Malay newspapers and magazines since the day I finished my SPM Malay paper.

Everything now is English English English. And some Chinese.

I think the market for housing is very bad.

Developers even need to bring in a hot air balloon to attract buyers.

Reminds me of Archimedes' principle. Weight of fluid displaced = Volume of fluid displaced. Something like that.

WenQi wrote that Mr. Sean has conjunctivitis, it's the red eye thing right?

Maybe it's the OHP, he always stares at it, that blinding light. Or maybe it's the pile of stuff behind his TV, he's not a tidy person, and I don't think the maids clean that area.

Hope he gets well soon. I can't imagine sir with red eyes. Must be scary.

I am currently rereading Lim May-Zhee's 'Sweetheart from Hell'. By the way, that's the author in the picture. I know, very pretty right? Pretty and published. So cool.

Amidst the mess of past year Economics papers in my room, this little pink chick-lit book rests serenely on my pillow. I just couldn't resist it.

No, I don't read 'Confessions of a Shopaholic' or 'PS I Love You' because I just can't programme myself to like them. But I do read Mariah Frederick's 'Head Game' and our young local author's 2nd book.

Although the female lead is incorrigible, not-so-smart and impossible (quote Daniel Chou, the male lead), the plot is funny enough. Exactly what I need now during exam season.

Ok, I shall go study now. Ciao.
