You're Living in the Past

I had my blood sucked out of me twice, both reports said it wasn't dengue fever.

Doctor convinced me the on-and-off fever was just a normal viral infection, nothing much. I had my doubts.

Ever since daddy mentioned the possibilities: dengue, typhoid, chikugunya (however u spell it)... I started to have a terrible feeling that I would die soon, then cried like a silly child.

Have you ever wondered why God would give a dog such a face?

It's not like those human-face-pig-hearted people will stop abusing dogs.

But seriously...

Just look at it!!! Would you even say, "Bad dog!" to it?!

Would you? WOULD YOU?!

COULD YOU?!?!

Gah... cute dogs drive me nuts.

I went back to Muar the previous Sunday for a function.

By the way, that's grandpa, busy man...

It was held in the presently infamous secondary school in Muar, Chung Hwa Chinese Independent Secondary School.

Thanks to Namewee, our favourite national anthem singer.

For Alvin's sake. The dude just loves lion dances. I don't know why *shrugs*.

Oh, they're not Kun Seng Keng (hopefully I got the spelling correct), they're from that school. Not bad though, at least for me they're ok.

I, being the good grand-daughter, attended the dinner with a confident smile even though I was really sick.

And it wasn't my ill condition that made me felt out of place.

I think I over-dressed.

Wardrobe problems people face when they attend supposedly formal functions in a small town like Muar.

C'mon, it's the umpteenth anniversary of your Lim clan association! And just so happened that your ancestors were from the same village in the Hokkien province of China!!

Dress nicely la. You don't go to a formal dinner in with your taxi uniform with the top 4 buttons unbuttonned!! Haiz... some people...

This was on the students' message board on April Fool's Day. We all thought the person is a bisexual.

April Fool's Day was surprisingly boring. I only fooled Yui, with a silly trick.

Me: There's something white in your hair... left side.
Yui: Huh (patted her hair), yea gah?
Me: April Fool's~ *grin*
Yui: Omg you tricked me!!

Yea yea yea I know the semester exam is the week after this. Yea yea I should be studying because my scholarship depends on it.

I dream about Datin Nadarajah shouting at my face every night when I close my eyes, "STUDY STUDY STUDY!!!" with that shrill voice of hers.

This. Is. The. Best. Movie. Ever.

So inspirational. So intriguing. So colourful. So... true.

I read WeiMing's and ChungLi's latest entries, both on the JPA scholarship interview. I think the discussion topics were very general, I would give anything to be there, sitting at the chairs they sat just for the fun of discussing such topics in front of adults.

Yes, I'm very showy and quite vainglorious.

But that's what I like to do. I like to entertain. I like to see my audience's reactions.

You see, it's not about me liking debate or acting. As long as there is an audience, I'm happy to roll on the stage and act like a moron if he or she wants me to.

Another good movie.

A good reason why a human deserves to have HBO, Cinemax and Star Movies for free. Should put it in the Bill of Rights.

And before I forget...

Congratz to Dato' Seri Najib Tun Razak, the 6th Prime Minister of Malaysia.

There was an urban legend about Malaysian PMs being 'arranged' by an odd yet familiar combination of alphabets -- RAHMAN. Coincidentally, it was true.

We shall see who is the next lucky man. Maybe all the ex-PMs' sons are supposed to queue up for it.

That's why I love Malaysia, things get more and more interesting everyday.

Newspapers said he's a romantic man. Our PM sends his wife flowers on her birthday every year without fail. Aww...

And I heard expenses for Botox too~

You know we all love you very much, Mr. PM.

P/S: Did you see Carla Bruni-Sarkozy's purple coat?! Now, President Sarkozy, that's a good husband.

Oh and they said Mrs. Sarkozy blushed when she was supposed to greet President Obama. Maybe President Obama is too hunk-a-licious for her. Instead of kissing his cheeks she might be tempted to kiss his lips. XD
