High School wasn't Meant to Last Forever

The title was taken from the lyrics of 'Senior Year Spring Musical Medley' from 'High School Musical 3: Senior Year'.

Just watched it today. I have to say it's not as good as what they said in the newspapers. But it definitely makes the rocks in 'Camp Rock' seem like ash-grey powder.

Songs in 'HSM 3' are catchy. The 'Camp Rock' soundtrack is bland although there are the Jonas Brothers singing as well.

Oh and I have to add.

In this (hopefully) last movie of the HSM trilogy, the dresses and skirts are shorter; and the V-neck collars are deeper.

Boys will have a great time ogling at Vanessa Anne Hudgen's cleavage (since most of you have already seen her nude, I guess it's no big deal anymore), and Ashley's Tisdale's beautiful legs (shall add that to my Christmas wishlist).

My week is both depressing and heartwarming.

English --> 97% = A1
Moral Studies --> 71% = A2
Physics --> 67% = A2
Chemistry --> 68% = A2
Literature in English --> 65% = A2

That'll make 2 A1s, 6 A2s, 2 B3s and 1 C6. To make it sound nicer, 8As 2Bs 1C.

I know my English marks is kinda impossible. Pn. Suraiah gave me full marks for my paper 1, meaning I got full marks for both of my essays. I think my continuous writing sucks.

Shuet Han, Wai Yan, Seow Teng, Yeong Ean and I got trophies for the Chinese Essay Writing Competition organised by the school's Chinese Language Society.

The funny and happy thing was, the 5 of us who won in the Sec 5 category are all from the same class, dearly beloved 5S2.

Cheong Yoong said, "So fake. You guys were like competing against each other."

It's a personal thing but I still prefer teachers, classmates and friends not to say that my English is better than my Chinese.

Pn. Yeap said my essay is well-written and suggested that I post it. I shall do that soon.

What in the world is that?!

Eww eww eww.

Is it just me or is my house infested with extincted mutated creepy crawlies.

It didn't move, I thought it was dead. Probably a fossil.

Then a thought flashed by, why don't I name it after myself? Just like that guy who named that long stick-of-an-insect.

Stupid. I shall not engage in such puerile pleasures. I left it alone and went to chew my Biology reference book.

Chu's hamster!!

Aaarrghh so cute!! Look at the big black shiny beads (the eyes).

Chu and I went for lunch at Old Town White Coffee.

I'm not a big fan of coffee. But since we were going to have 2 hours of Phy/Chem then another 2 hours of English extra classes, the sight of coffee is welcoming and very very palatable.

The reputable nasi lemak special, which is 2 times the price of a plate of nasi lemak in a mamak stall.

Then again, we weren't dining in a mamak stall, but in Old Town.

2 more weeks to SPM. 4 more weeks to graduation. Too fast.

I'm gonna turn 17 in 2 months time and gosh, I'm gonna graduate from high school already.

I never thought I'd say this. I don't wanna leave school so fast.

Some of my classmates noticed I tend to spend more time talking than studying in school lately. I wish we could all come to school and not just focus on SPM, but to take a sip of the camaraderies we bonded with all our friends.

My fingers glided on the walls of the hall, feeling and savouring its texture.

I shall miss the ever present mirth. You'll see me sighing recalling the tears shed.

High school wasn't meant to last forever.

In fact, nothing was meant to stand the harsh influx of time.

Pn. Yeap described me as a girl rich with emotion with an equal dose of logic. That's so true!!

She, Pn. Lim and Ms. Khoo are the teachers that have done a great impact in my life. Love them so much.

By the way, the prom scene is my favourite scene in the movie. ^^

P/S: I have a soft spot for guys who dress formally. I have to say that Alvin, ZiK, Phil looked sexy in working clothes.

Yer, quit it, I sound desperate. XP
