I've Changed aka China-ASEAN #2

Xia said I've changed since I came back from China.

Grace said I've changed since I came back from China.
Yappie said I've changed since I came back from China.
Mom said I've changed since I came back from China.

Heck, even my driver (not a chauffer, just a person who drives me and some other students to and from school) said I've changed since I came back.
I know I'm a little darker (ok TANNED) and there are a little more pimples.

But it ain't that obvious.

Unless I really did gain weight (ARRRRRRRGGH no).

Right I know you guys are anticipating the 2nd part, so here it is.

In the lobby. The girl in white is the tour guide for Bus #1 (we have 2 buses).

We were going to High School Affiliated to Guiyang Normal University (it's a high school that is attatched to a university, ya dig) for like a welcome party organised by the local students.

Random picture of Guiyang city. Taken on the way to the high school.

The multimedia room of the high school. The one in front of the screen holding a camera is the representative from the ASEAN Secreatariat, Miss Dini (Tini? I seriously don't know).

The tall guy standing is FaZheng (or you can call him Tom).

The girl sitting behind him is Angel.

The Indonesian teacher, Ibu Irma (the Brunei and Indonesian students called her that) looked frightened.

Mr. Myanmar (every teacher is like called after their country) beside her.

The principal (in white) of the school giving a speech.

He spoke in Chinese, the woman in black beside him (one of the school teachers) acting as his translator.

After that we enjoyed the light snacks prepared by the students. All the local sweets and desserts. We took the chance to get to know each other as well, talking about school and grades, stuff like that.
Nikki from Philippines, JieYu (or Jade) and Angel from that high school.

We went out to take a group photo. That was the first time we tasted the wrath of taking official group photos -- it'll be very long (a lot of cameras) and your smile will freeze.

The teachers.

Left to right: Mdm Chong (Ms. Malaysia or Mommy Octo), a teacher from Qinghua Middle School (the VI in China), Mr. Saiful (or Mr. Brunei, the Brunei team teacher), principal of the high school, Ms Dini, Mr. Cambodia (behind her), Ibu Irma (or Ms. Indonesia), someone else and Ms. Chang (or Ms. Singapore).

Part of the welcome party included playing basketball with the school team.

No joke, k.

The school team is no. 2 in Guiyang. And the players are fuyoh-memang tall ok.

Ok I know they look shorter than Tong Ching in this picture but trust me, I'm like a dwarf there.

Luckily they only asked the guys to play against the school team.

The guys playing against the school team. Go ASEAN!

The one with the ball is Benz from Thailand (I know his name hints luxury). These guys are so tall...

Their coach keep shouting to the school players in Chinese, "Don't play too hard! Let them score!"

Hello, I understand Chinese ok?

When his team scored he didn't say anything. When the ASEAN team scored he shouted in Chinese, clapping his hands, "Good shot! Good shot!"

Fake nia...

School team players playing against each other.

Look at them basketball hotties...

After lunch we had to attend this opening ceremony for the China-ASEAN thing.
We had to stand on those thin metal things behind those chairs. For official picture taking purpose.

I'm telling you that thing is dangerous. Do not trust the people standing in front of you.

Seriously.

The hall~

The programme booklet.

You don't wanna be there.

There are like 10 people giving speeches and each one lasts more than 20 minutes. We were all sleeping at the back.

Thousand even sneaked out for a bite (that heartbreaker hid one packet of biscuits in his back and told none of us about it).

The China dolls I promised Xan. There are more to come.

Till next time then, tata~
