Banging Heads aka China-ASEAN #6

I don't know who gave them the idea of it but yea, let's play.

"Spicy sushi who want eat? I don't eat, you want eat. 4P 4P who want eat? No one eat, no one eat..."

Then you'll hear the loud smacks of Add Maths notes (rolled into a stick) on the heads.

Of course, there was Tong Ching's roar before he transformed to the Hulk.

Figuratively.

Alright, the 6th day in China was our last half day in Guiyang.

We went to the lobby in our white uniform (the t-shirt they gave us), then we scrambled up to Thousand's room.

Everyone was in the lobby wearing their traditional costumes.

Thousand changed into his dad's red batik. Octo and I didn't, 'cause we just have to man powerpoint slides. And because wearing mom's purple kebaya makes me look fat.

Though everyone knows I'm Fat (as in, my nickname, Fat), I want to prove David wrong.

I AM NOT PURE FAT.

This is Qinghua High School's football field.

If Khoo Yuan sees this he'll drool.

I heard that their football team is one of the top teams in Guizhou.

Oh yea, forgot to mention, Qinghua is like the co-ed version of VI in China. Lots of their ex-students are ministers, billionaires, actors, famous people.

Their super-comfortable-air-conditioned-canggih-manggih multimedia room.

In short, I love these multimedia rooms.

The principal (in black, wooo very young) and his translator, a student.

We ASEAN students were supposed to give presentations.
First up, Brunei.

Wafiy looking nervous.

Mr. Saiful, Fify (oh gosh he's so cute) and Ramzi~

Ramzi and Fify performing the silat.

They said they practised the silat for two days only, and Mr. Saiful has a black belt in silat. Don't mess with the man...

Wafiy did mention about one beautiful mosque in Brunei. Architecture, nature, tradition, I might consider flying over to Brunei for vacation after SPM.

I'll have tour guides anyway. ^^

Second, Cambodia.

Kok, David aka Chimp and Mr. Cambodia.

Sing aka Monkey~

The cute thing about them was, David was so nervous he was tongue-tied. All of a sudden he blurted, "Oh my god..."

Then Kok came to the rescue, finished the sentence for David.

David calmed down and continued, only to stop and say, "Oh my god..." again.

No. 3, Laos.

Alex, the man who saved my name from being fat.

The two beautiful ladies~

I was quite shocked when one of the girls told us that parents in Laos aren't keen on sending their children to school. Especially with their daughters, not many of the girls are educated in Laos.

It's... so unfair.

4th, Indonesia.

Budi, Claresta (wow, pink) and Icha.

Claresta performing the traditional dance used to welcome guests in Jawa.

According to Icha, Indonesia is very much alive and fraught with colourful celebrations during the festive seasons. Sounds fun, should visit Bali and Jakarta (stay with Ms. Dini yay).

We're no. 5.

Thousand, Octo and I.

I know I know, we look good.

That's why Thousand looked so happy.

Lol perasan pulak...

After us was Myanmar.

Left to right: Mr. Cute-but-Shy, SuSu and BuBu.

Personally, I think that hat is cute. Seriously.

They don't have LRT or MRT there, so you can imagine how inconvenient it is for them to travel.

Next was Philippines.

Check out Nikki in her country's traditional costume!!

It looks like an evening gown right?

So beautiful... and it sparkles!!

And it costs like a thousand pesos.

Coming at the 8th was Singapore.

Left to right: LinBing (looking smart in red blazer), J. Randolph and ZL (he looks like an evil mastermind).

JR wore white shirt and white trousers. He claimed that the ministers wear this kind of 'uniform' when they are having meetings.

Fuyoh.

Last but not least, Thailand.

Benz and Korn.

The lucky girl who has 2 hot guys taking care of her.
Though the school has like beautiful gardens and classrooms, their toilets stink. No doors, the moment Octo and I went in, we felt like vomitting.

On the way to the airport, FaZheng, JinFeng, J. Randolph, LinBing, ZL, Jeff, Henry, Nigel, Octo and I were joking around in the bus.

FaZheng licked the 'bing bang' again, this time with chocolate and wasabi.

There's something seriously wrong with these people.

Jade, FaZheng, JinFeng, Jeff and Nigel gave us gifts. So sweet and thoughtful of them.

When we reach the airport, everyone was in tears.

I'll miss these lovely, beautiful people so much. God knows when I'll meet them again.

Even if I were to go to Guiyang again, that'll be years after. By that time they'll be in universities, and they want to study in universities in other provinces.

Gosh...

We had lunch together, which was more pleasant as the ambience was solemn. So there wasn't anymore teasing and bullying.

FaZheng and JinFeng bought Octo and I sour milk ice-cream. We've been in love with sour milk ice-cream ever since.

My heart felt a tight squeeze when I saw them all in tears. The moment we hugged each other, it was so natural for tears to just tumble down.

I know it's only a mere 6 days. But you weren't there, you don't know how close we were.

Half of the plane was ours. We played poker and 7 on the plane. Talked about them Guiyang students and wondered what will we encounter in Harbin. Will the students be as welcoming as the ones in Guiyang? Will we cry when we leave them?

We reached Beijing at 5pm+, had dinner in the airport. The soft drink bottles were bigger lol.
Then flew to Harbin. Reached Harbin at 11.30pm.
The hotel's lobby was so grand.
Octo and I were so sleepy (it's already 1am), we got our room card and went up straight, hauling our heavy luggages.
I opened the door and slotted the card in, the lights were on. Octo went in first, and accidentally switched off the lights. She ran out like a fleeing sheep.
Trying to act heroine, I went in and on the lights. The moment I reached the beds, THE LIGHTS WENT OUT!!
We left our luggages on the floor and ran to the elevators.
Breathing heavily. We waited for someone to come. Mommy Octo laughed when she heard our story. She slept in our room that night. There's a problem with the connection. JR and ZL experienced the same thing.
