SMKTC Loves Pn. Kuek

Today is so-very-ultimately eventful.

1. Spain beated Russia 3-0. Muahahaha... Arshavin is useless against Fabregas. So it's Germany vs. Spain in the Euro 08 finals.

And guess what, I get to watch the finals~

The school (especially Mr. John) cares for us so much they decided to have the jogathon tomorrow, so Monday will be a holiday! I can stay up~

2. The title told half of the story. Pn. Kuek got promoted to be a Senior Assistant of Co-curriculum... in another school.

I could never picture school without Pn. Kuek, because without Pn. Kuek, the athletic team won't be the same anymore. I mean, she's one of the main reasons we got to where we are now, 2nd in KL.

The vibe in the hall was enough to break the hearts of even the guy athletes, some of them teared. They stood up and walk out of the hall in twos and threes when Mr. Wong started talking about Pn. Kuek.

The athletes formed one long line in front of the hall. They gave Pn. Kuek the athletic team shirt, fraught with black signatures by the athletes and teachers. One by one they hugged her. The background music was 'Zhen Xin Ying Xiong'.

Suddenly, students from every corner, prefects and librarians stood up and lined up to hug Pn. Kuek. The athletes that hugged Pn. Kuek went on stage and started singing 'You Raised Me Up' by Josh Groban.

One athlete presented Pn. Kuek with a bouquet of carnations. Mr. John and Pn. Shanthi escorted Pn. Kuek up the stage. The athletes shouted their motto: SMKTC terus cemerlang! as salute to Pn. Kuek.

She gave a short speech, struggling to keep the sobs in her throat. Mr. John, Pn. Shanthi and the athletic team escorted her out of the hall.

I shall miss Pn. Kuek so very much as I love her oh-so-much, and she's the only discipline teacher I never had a grudge with (sorry la Jer, but I did disliked your dad once).

3. Right after that, it was election time.

For the first time students have the choice to choose the headboy/headgirl. Eric, Biang Haur, Jesse, You Chung and Zhi Ching gave speeches.

According to Eric's speech, the plural for the word 'caunselour' is 'caunselour-caunselour'.

Biang Haur is so cute, though some may find him a tad bit cocky.

When Jesse took the mic, students booed. Pity him lar.

You Chung speaks like a robot. I don't like this guy.

Zhi Ching, the rose among the thorns, was soft and sweet.

I chose Biang Haur by the way. I heard that Eric got the most votes.

4. Pn. Usha came to the meeting with a sour face. She broke the news to us (which Jer and I predicted yesterday).

English Night is officially cancelled.

I was relieved. I know it's not nice to be like that. But I do need to study and focus on SPM by that time.

5. Pot bless today in homefellowship. I get to eat eat eat.

6. Going back to Muar tomorrow. I get to eat eat eat eat. And yea, to say, 'Happy birth(brat)day!' to my spoilt cousin.

Muar got the best satays. No, these satays you see are Kajang satay.
Don't believe me? Go ask JiaTern.

I'll get you guys some tit-bits la don't worry.

7. Euro 08 Finals at 2.45am Monday!!!!! Spain!!!

Ok, 6 and 7 are not today's events but nevermind, they're planned.
