What in the world is Magic English??
Then I told her, "No. I don't know what is Magic English."
I think she thought I was LCLY, so she talked to my parents. My dad said, "Magic English? I've never heard of it. But we have Indian neighbours, they speak good English."
That was my notorious childhood. Always using big words to criticize people. XP
When I started secondary school, mom said that it was time I needed tuition. She heard from our neighbours that Minda Ceria is good.
But it was always full. I didn't manage to get a seat in Mr. Sean's class last year.

Isn't he adorable (don't tell Ms. Loo I said that)????
I used to skip tuition classes whenever I could. A few months ago, dad called and asked, "What tuition are you having today?"
Chery: English.
Dad: Can you skip tuition today? I still have a meeting.
Chery: I'll ask Mr. Ng whether he can send me there or not.
I didn't want to miss any of Mr. Sean's class. Because his classes are unpredictable. You may not know what awaits you when he steps into the class. There was once when he came in he said, "You guys look so lethargic... stand up! Before I start the class, let's dance."
Or when you're writing your answers on the whiteboard, he might say, "Last one to sit down dance with Nigel!"
When he sees you reluctant to leave your comfort zone during group work, he'll say, "Ah Seng, you join Stephanie's group." And when you flush after seeing who your group members are, he'll say, "Come on, don't be so modest. We all know you like her/him."
Time flies and yesterday was the last English class for this year.
Hui Chi's last class yesterday, will miss her.
P/S: CATHLEEN'S BACK!!!
