There's Add Maths tuition today, but I was forced to skip it 'cause of headaches and fever.
Supposed to rest now, but I just need to write something.
Finished my 2nd short story, "Sentimental Versailles". Setting in Versailles, France, before the revolution. Featuring one of my favourite names in history --- Marie Antoinette. Kinda boring if you don't know anything about France before the revolution.
The 1st short story I wrote was "I'll Come Back to Venice", some kind of 'guns and roses' concept.
And yes, both with a touch of romance. Boys will find it absolutely boring.
Anyway, I just broke the record.
Never in my life I received medicine of different colours...!!!
White, pink and green. Makes me feel that I'm really going through some serious medication.
I need to swallow 2 gargantuan aspirin pills...
As well as sucking this big green button-like thing...
3 times a day and each time 2 pills of aspirin... makes the headache worse...
But... for the sake of getting better and enjoy the Toblerone white chocolate Cathleen gave me, I shall sacrifice cold and oily food.
Let me tell you that I almost used vulgar language while speaking to SPCA officials just now.
SPCA came to get my dog!!
They want to take my Maxie away!!!
At first they came to Mrs. Siew's house, which is my next door neighbour, asking her if she has a dog. She said, "No, I don't. But my next door has one cute dog."
So, they came here along with Mrs. Siew and asked for me, Maxie came out too.
There were 3 officials, 1 Indian, who did all the talking, and the other 2 are Malays.
Indian : Oooo... see, there's a dog.
Chery : May I help you with anything?
Siew : Esther, they said got people complained about your dog wo... These people from SPCA~
Chery : Somebody accusing us of abusing our dogs? 'Cause you're from SPCA...
Indian : It's like this, we received complaints from someone, saying that your dog is kind of a nuisance...
Siew : No aa, the dog very good boy de oo.
Indian : They said he barks a lot and that you allow him to shit in others' premises.
Chery : Pardon me, but I never let him out of the house, since the beginning of January this year.
Siew : You're not going to take action, are you?
Indian : No, nothing to worry about. Can we have a look at its license and documents?
Chery : Sorry, my dad is the one keeping them and I don't know where are they.
Indian : Alright, nevermind. We're giving you this letter, please fax the documents to this number.
Chery : Ok, thanks.
In the letter, there are printed columns which the officials have to tick. But since our dog is in such a well condition, we're not charged of abusing.
Mrs. Tan came over too. She also said that our dog didn't shit in others' houses, neither did he barked a lot.
Maxie was frightened and sticked to me when the officials wanted to take a picture of him. He even hid behind me when he saw them.
See?? He's afraid of strangers, how is it possible for him to run and shit in others' houses?
Futhermore, we never let him out of the backyard, the most is that I let him into the house.
Mrs. Siew and Mrs. Tan defended my dear doggie and talked to the officials, so happy to have such neighbours.
Indian : We're going to close the file after we receive the documents. But if the same person complains again, I'm very sorry but we have to take him away.
Chery : Oh... don't worry, you won't need to do that. We're shifting by the end of the year. Send my regards and tell them that they won't miss us.
I wonder who are the people who complained.
In my row of houses, there is another house with a dog, and opposite my row there is another
dog.
Did they come to the wrong house?
I reckon it's the same people who dropped poisoned chocolates that night to kill Maxie... and I know who they are...
It's controversial and I maybe prosecuted.
SPCA and you people who wants to take my dog away from me... YOU CAN'T 'CAUSE YOU
DON'T HAVE THE GUTS TO DO IT IN FRONT OF THE PUBLIC!!! YOU PEOPLE EVEN LIED ABOUT IT!!! SHAME ON YOU!!
I'll curse you if I can.
But I can't.
