Fireworks Flew, Sotto Voce in the Night

After doing loads of exercises...

The first derivation thing wasn't that confusing actually.

11.30pm yesterday night, dad, mom, Brian and I went for supper.

To us, supper = mamak.
Mamak = Teh tarik + sup ayam mamak

Call it unhealthy or fattening, I don't care. Life without mamak is a living hell.

By mamak, I don't mean high class Indian restaurants. I meant, road side stalls. Better still if I have to stand and eat.

Waiting for the fireworks whilst eating my mee goreng. To me, counting down with your half-a-century old parents is *cute*.

When the guy in the TV started counting, "10, 9, 8..." I turned around and gaze from our special KL view seats.

12am.

Nothing.

12.01am.

Nothing.

12.02am.

Nothing.

12.20am.

NOTHING.

Except for the KL Tower playing with its thousand lights.

The Twin Towers were like diamond encrusted bee hives shining in the night.

How disappointing.

Some people even climbed up the trees...

Cathleen was in Genting counting down; Zi Kang & Calvin were in Putrajaya. Haiz...

This morning, another disappointment.

I didn't see them dance!! My grandpa, my big gor, my 2nd gor... >.<

Anyway, went to MidValley for the HomeDeco exhibition. Mom wasted like 1 hour deciding whether or not she should buy the stove (is that even a stove?). My legs are sore.

Damien got lost in MPH. Wasted about half an hour trying to find him.

I don't understand why dad doesn't agree if I asked him to buy some fictions for me. I'm not asking for cheesy-dramatical chick lit or teen romance or adult romance, I'm asking for fictions adults read.

Don't get the wrong idea. It may contain some explicit languages but it's not teen literature.

I READ AMY TAN AND JODI PICOULT FOR GOODNESS SAKE!!

EVEN ANTONIA FRASER!!

Just gimme books, please daddy~
